📋 Description
- • Senior Software Engineer role focused on developing next-generation WEX Corporate Payments products including UIs, APIs, webhooks, and data streams.
- • Drive long-term vision and strategy for Corporate Payments cross-cutting and core services while defining architectural roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- • Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within engineering teams; challenge status quo to reduce time-to-market using efficient engineering methods.
- • Collaborate across teams to reuse development practices and components, reducing duplication and improving efficiency.
- • Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), implement high-quality automation and testing practices, and apply security and compliance knowledge in cloud/data environments.
- • Leverage AI-native engineering tools like Claude or Cursor to enhance development workflows.
- • Thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with strong communication and team-building skills.
- • Contribute to a mission-driven organization building scalable payment solutions for enterprise clients.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in software engineering
- • Expertise in rapid development and deployment of services using AWS or Azure
- • Experience writing high-quality automation including unit, component, and integration tests with understanding of the test pyramid
- • Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements in cloud and data environments
- • Hands-on experience with AI-native engineering tools such as Claude or Cursor
- • Excellent team-building and dynamic decision-making skills
- • Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
