- • As a Senior Software Engineer on GameChanger's Computer Vision team, you will own the end-to-end delivery of software systems that integrate computer vision capabilities into user-facing experiences, primarily building and evolving backend infrastructure while extending these capabilities across frontend platforms.
- • You will design, develop, and operate large-scale APIs, data pipelines, and event-driven systems powering CV-based features, design schemas and queries for high-traffic workloads, and contribute to frontend integrations on Android, iOS, and web to bring backend-powered features to users.
- • You will collaborate with engineering, product, design, and QA teams to deliver scalable, reliable platform experiences, integrating CV-powered features with attention to performance, maintainability, scalability, and platform fit.
- • You will join a remote-first, dynamic tech company headquartered in New York City that is building the first and best place to experience youth sports moments, helping families elevate the next generation through technology that supports coaches, parents, and volunteers in youth sports.
- • You will have the opportunity to grow as a generalist across backend and frontend boundaries, leverage AI tooling for development workflows, and work on innovative features like automated highlights and video analysis that impact millions of youth sports teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of software engineering experience with interest in working as a generalist across backend and frontend boundaries.
- • 4+ years of experience with Node.js or similar backend technology.
- • 1+ years of experience contributing to frontend or user-facing features on any platform (mobile preferred), or strong interest in building that skill.
- • Proven ability to effectively leverage AI tooling for development workflows, debugging, and accelerated learning.
- • Experience building and integrating backend services, APIs, and data pipelines into user-facing products.
- • Bonus (not required): Experience working with deployed CV/ML models.
