- • Engineer distributed systems processing hundreds of thousands of browser and mobile application event bundles per second using Go, Kubernetes, and GCP.
- • Design, build, and evolve the ingestion pipeline responsible for capturing, processing, and persisting session data at high scale with reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
- • Ensure the quality and reliability of data capture and extraction systems across internal and external downstream applications.
- • Collaborate with technical leaders and product experts to shape the technical roadmap for Ingestion services and participate in cross-functional engineering initiatives.
- • Explore architectural innovations to unlock new product features through scalable framework designs.
- • Optimize system performance, reliability, and efficiency by implementing enhancements to the ingestion pipeline.
- • Act as a go-to resource for implementation questions and conduct regular code and design reviews for the engineering team.
- • Leverage AI tools to enhance work quality and improve operational efficiency in pipeline development and maintenance.
- • Work in a hybrid model requiring one day per week of in-office attendance at the Atlanta office; candidates must reside within a commutable distance.
- • Contribute to streaming ingestion and processing systems that deliver accurate, real-time data to product analytics, machine learning, and data analytics systems.
- • Deliver immediate and actionable insights to downstream consumers through iterative improvements to the ingestion infrastructure over 12 months.
- • Maintain and improve systems that power both FullStory’s product analytics features and internal machine learning pipelines.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong understanding of distributed architectures and solving capacity and performance challenges at data scale
- • Production experience writing Go (Golang) code
- • Experience with Kubernetes and operating highly available, reliable cloud-based microservices in production
- • Experience with asynchronous or streaming ingestion and processing systems and frameworks
- • Demonstrated use of AI tools to enhance work quality and optimize efficiency
