• • As a Senior Software Engineer focused on the Data Platform at Pearlyplan Inc., you will be at the forefront of shaping and scaling our critical data infrastructure. This is a hands-on role where you will take complete ownership of Pearly's data systems, encompassing architecture, infrastructure, and code. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining these systems using production-grade TypeScript and SQL, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and performant.
• • Your responsibilities extend beyond the data platform; you will also contribute to the broader application codebase, including areas like payments, workflow automation, and CI/CD processes. This holistic involvement ensures a deep understanding of how data integrates with and supports all facets of our B2B SaaS and payments platform.
• • A key aspect of this role is your contribution to code quality and team excellence. You will serve as a trusted final reviewer for code across the team, providing mentorship and guidance to both human engineers and AI agents. Your example will set the standard for rigorous code review, documentation, and overall development best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Your role in owning the technical specification is crucial, as you will develop the guiding plan that shapes architecture, scope, and execution for every initiative, always considering long-term scalability and anticipating potential edge cases.
• • A significant part of your role will be to drive the overall data architecture and harmonization across the platform. This involves designing sophisticated systems, abstractions, and algorithms that effectively unify data from diverse sources, including multiple EHRs, payment processors, and external vendors, into a coherent, scalable, and easily accessible layer.
• • You will be responsible for making critical data modeling decisions, prioritizing performance, observability, and operational excellence as fundamental components of the system design. This ensures that our data infrastructure is not only functional but also highly efficient and maintainable.
• • Furthermore, you will own the integration of vendor SDKs and manage technical aspects of vendor relationships, ensuring seamless data flow and collaboration with external partners.
