📋 Description

• Design, build, and own the architecture of core enterprise AI platform components, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability for generative AI applications used by Fortune 500 companies
• Develop secure, high-performance Python-based services and microservices that integrate enterprise-grade LLMs, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector), and agentic workflows into the platform
• Architect and optimize low-latency RESTful APIs to enable seamless interaction between AI models, backend systems, and enterprise client environments
• Lead end-to-end delivery of platform features from proposal and design through deployment and monitoring, operating with autonomy and minimal oversight
• Bridge gaps between backend engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native scalability on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Apply deep expertise in modern Python frameworks such as FastAPI and Asyncio to build responsive, concurrent systems handling high-volume AI inference requests
• Implement and maintain robust database systems using PostgreSQL for structured data storage and retrieval in AI-driven applications
• Proactively identify systemic risks, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities in enterprise AI pipelines and propose scalable solutions
• Communicate technical plans, architectural changes, and deployment strategies clearly to cross-functional teams without requiring formal approval cycles
• Mentor junior engineers by providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices in enterprise AI development and secure software engineering
• Contribute to the evolution of the platform’s security posture by implementing IAM, SSO, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and RBAC protocols in alignment with enterprise compliance requirements
• Collaborate with product and AI teams to translate business needs into technical specifications for AI agent deployment, data grounding, and access control
• Optimize the platform’s performance under enterprise-scale workloads, reducing latency and increasing throughput for real-time AI interactions
• Leverage AI developer tooling (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance system maintainability
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations to ensure platform uptime and reliability for mission-critical enterprise clients
• Support legacy system migrations by designing phased, low-risk upgrade paths for enterprise customers transitioning to the WRITER AI platform

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a senior software engineer with strong emphasis on Python development in production environments
• Proven expertise in building and deploying generative AI applications using LLMs, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector), and open-source agentic frameworks in secure enterprise contexts
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker, and Kubernetes
• Solid grasp of modern web technologies including FastAPI, Asyncio, and PostgreSQL
• Demonstrated ability to own end-to-end system design and deployment with proactive communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong problem-solving skills and a mindset of accountability for delivering resilient, scalable code from conception to production
