• • As a Senior Software Engineer on the Growth Insights team at Kraken, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of how we understand and leverage user data to drive growth and optimize the platform. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining a robust, scalable, and well-governed analytics ecosystem that empowers our Growth and Platform teams to make confident, data-driven decisions.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to act as the driving force behind our analytics tracking, attribution models, and event data governance. You will be at the forefront of optimizing the flow of data through our extensive MarTech infrastructure, ensuring that we accurately and reliably capture, process, and report on critical user interactions, marketing campaign performance, and A/B test results.
• • You will develop and maintain shared libraries and establish best practices for event tracking across Kraken's diverse frontend codebases. This includes ensuring consistency, minimizing duplication of effort, and enabling the collection of high-quality data across all our frontend platforms, including web and mobile applications.
• • A key aspect of your role will involve ensuring data quality and consistency. You will achieve this by building and implementing robust validation mechanisms, comprehensive monitoring systems, and proactive alerting to detect and prevent data issues before they impact decision-making.
• • You will be responsible for documenting and evangelizing best practices for analytics implementation throughout the engineering organization. This involves creating a clear, accessible, and up-to-date knowledge base that engineers and analysts can rely on for guidance.
• • Close collaboration with Data Engineering and Analytics teams will be essential. You will work hand-in-hand with these teams to ensure that event data is perfectly aligned with our established source of truth, thereby supporting reliable and accurate business intelligence and decision-making.
• • You will continuously optimize our MarTech stack, which involves evaluating new tools and integrating solutions that enhance our tracking capabilities, improve attribution accuracy, and provide deeper customer insights.
• • Your work will directly contribute to improving our event and attribution modeling. This enhancement will enable more precise and actionable insights into user journeys, the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and overall product engagement.
