📋 Description

• Develop and maintain high-quality frontend applications using React and TypeScript for Airwallex’s Global Treasury and Payment Network (GTPN) platform.
• Build micro frontend web applications using domain-based architecture and integrate them within a single SPA framework following industry best practices.
• Design and implement Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services using Node.js and Apollo GraphQL to enable efficient, contract-based integration with backend systems.
• Collaborate with design teams to establish and maintain a unified design system and reusable UI/UX components, benchmarking against Material-UI and Ant Design.
• Package and publish reusable NPM libraries and widget components to streamline client integration across internal teams.
• Deploy micro frontends and Node.js services using GCP and Aliyun Kubernetes, CDN, and Cloudflare, with CI/CD pipelines managed via GitLab.
• Implement comprehensive frontend testing using React Testing Library, Test Renderer, and Cypress to achieve 80%+ test coverage for unit and end-to-end tests.
• Develop no-code/serverless CMS systems using Contentful and Next.js to power corporate websites and branding landing pages.
• Actively participate in the frontend guild to research emerging technologies, drive innovation initiatives, and reduce technical debt across the frontend ecosystem.
• Own the technical vision and delivery of multiple engineering streams within the GTPN team, ensuring product quality and timely releases.
• Serve as a technical leader who removes roadblocks, provides context to engineers, escalates critical issues, and aligns engineering efforts with business goals.
• Work with global stakeholders to define product roadmaps and deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations for global payments and treasury infrastructure.
• Contribute to the evolution of frontend architecture by applying modern patterns such as micro frontends, component-driven development, and scalable state management.
• Maintain deep expertise in HTML5, CSS3, ECMAScript 6+, Webpack, Rollup.js, Emotion, Styled Components, and SCSS.
• Ensure adherence to HTTP(S) protocols and RESTful API specifications across all frontend-backend interactions.
• Promote a culture of automation, proactive problem-solving, and continuous learning to maximize impact and minimize manual toil.
• Engage with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver cohesive, high-performance financial products.

🎯 Requirements

• More than 5 years of front-end development experience and more than 2 years of front-end architecture experience
• Experience developing large-scale financial web systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proficient in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend architectures including micro frontends and GraphQL
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, ECMAScript 6+, Webpack, Rollup.js, Emotion, Styled Components, SCSS, and CSS frameworks like Material-UI or Ant Design
