📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer role focused on backend and data systems, building services, APIs, and Postgres layer for a B2B SaaS and payments platform serving over 2,500 dental offices, with React frontend work as a secondary responsibility.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include writing production-grade TypeScript and SQL, owning features end-to-end across product domains (outreach automation, payments, reporting, analytics), leveraging AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor in development workflows, and contributing to CI/CD, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
• Pearlyplan Inc. is a rapidly scaling B2B SaaS and payments company with a hyper-modern tech stack, deep product-market fit, and a mission to impact millions of users through reliable, accurate, and scalable systems in a healthcare-adjacent domain.

🎯 Requirements

• Computer Science or similar quantitative/technical/engineering degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years deploying to production with direct responsibility for high-scale platforms (100M+ records) in accuracy-sensitive domains like healthcare or fintech
• Deep experience building backend and data systems (services, pipelines, APIs) in a general-purpose language and SQL, with strong relational data modeling fundamentals
• Extensive experience in TypeScript or a strongly typed language; comfortable in React, with frontend being a smaller part of the role
• Familiarity with a major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Understanding of security and compliance requirements for PHI, PII, and financial data
• Based in New York, NY; Santa Barbara, CA; or Atlanta, GA
