- • As a Senior Software Engineer on Reddit's GenAI Platform team, you will lead the development of a large-scale platform powering generative AI capabilities across Reddit’s ecosystem, directly impacting recommendations, content discovery, and user experience for over 126 million daily active users.
- • Day to day, you will design and implement the LLM Gateway with unified API endpoints, rate/token limit management, and intelligent failover; build enterprise-grade RAG applications using embeddings and vector search; implement agentic AI workflows with LangChain/LangGraph; and drive MLOps/LLMOps adoption through CI/CD automation, versioning, testing, and observability.
- • You will join the Machine Learning Platform team, a high-impact group that owns the infrastructure powering Reddit’s AI-driven features and collaborates closely with Growth, Ads, Feeds, and Core ML teams to scale intelligent systems across the platform.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in scalable AI platform engineering, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge GenAI technologies, and shape best practices for reliability, governance, and performance of AI systems in production—positioning you as a leader in the evolving LLMOps landscape.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in ML Engineering, AI Platform Engineering, or Cloud AI Deployment roles
- • Experience operating orchestration systems such as Kubernetes at scale
- • Deep experience with cloud-based technologies (AWS, Google Cloud Storage, Terraform, etc.) for ML platform support
- • Proficiency with programming languages and frameworks used in ML (e.g., Go, Python)
- • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- • Strong knowledge of model serving, inference pipelines, monitoring, and observability for AI systems (a plus)
