📋 Description

• • As a Senior Software Engineer (Golang) at Workato, you will play a critical role in enhancing the core execution engine that powers the company’s enterprise automation platform, directly impacting the reliability and performance of workflows used by 400,000+ global customers.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include building, extending, troubleshooting, and fixing complex Golang-based backend systems and microservices; improving the execution engine for third-party code isolation and performance; writing clean, testable, and efficient code; integrating with data storage systems like Postgres, S3, DynamoDB, Kafka, and ClickHouse; participating in full lifecycle development; conducting code reviews; identifying and resolving system bottlenecks and bugs; and contributing to code quality, organization, and automation initiatives.
• • You will join Workato’s Engine team, which focuses on the Recipe runtime — the heart of the platform responsible for executing automation workflows — and collaborate with a globally distributed team in a flexible, trust-oriented culture that values innovation, ownership, and work-life balance.
