📋 Description

• Architect and own the next generation of integration services that connect Insider One’s AI-driven customer engagement platform to 100+ external marketing, CRM, and analytics systems, processing 2.2 billion requests and 2 billion instant notifications daily across 450+ servers.
• Design, implement, and harden high-throughput, low-latency RESTful and gRPC APIs in Go that guarantee 99.99 % uptime, while continuously profiling and optimizing for sub-100 ms P99 response times.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of new integrations—from technical discovery with Fortune 500 partners (Samsung, Nike, L’Oréal, Nestlé, IKEA, Allianz, Domino’s) to production rollout—ensuring backward compatibility, graceful degradation, and zero-downtime migrations.
• Build and maintain resilient data pipelines that ingest, transform, and sync 100 TB of historical behavioral and predictive data in near real-time, leveraging MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis with advanced sharding, partitioning, and caching strategies.
• Champion engineering excellence by establishing code-review standards, automated testing suites (unit, integration, chaos), and CI/CD pipelines that deploy to AWS multiple times a day with full observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Mentor a cross-functional squad of backend, DevOps, and QA engineers; conduct architecture reviews, pair-programming sessions, and brown-bag talks to raise the collective bar on Go idioms, cloud-native patterns, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate daily with product managers, data scientists, and customer success teams in agile squads to translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions that unlock new revenue streams and reduce integration onboarding time by 50 %.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies (Kafka, ClickHouse, GraphQL, WebAssembly) and AWS services (Lambda, Fargate, MSK, Aurora Serverless) to keep the integration stack future-proof and cost-efficient.
• Monitor, alert, and autoscale services based on custom KPIs (requests/sec, error budgets, cost per 1 k messages) and participate in a blameless on-call rotation that treats every incident as a learning opportunity.
• Contribute to open-source projects and internal SDKs that empower 50+ engineering teams across 30 global offices to integrate faster and safer, while documenting tribal knowledge in Confluence and architectural decision records (ADRs).
• Drive security and compliance initiatives—GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001—by embedding encryption, tokenization, and audit logging into every layer of the integration stack.
• Shape the 2025 technical roadmap by presenting quarterly engineering vision decks to executives and investors, ensuring the $500 M Series E capital translates into measurable platform growth and customer delight.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of production-grade Go development with deep expertise in concurrency patterns, memory management, and profiling tools (pprof, go tool trace).
• Proven track record of designing and operating distributed systems at petabyte scale, including experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS).
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud-native services (EC2, EKS, Lambda, MSK, Aurora) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi).
• Strong understanding of RESTful and gRPC API design, including versioning, rate-limiting, authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT), and backward compatibility strategies.
• Nice-to-have: contributions to open-source Go projects, experience with GraphQL or ClickHouse, and familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
