• • Design and maintain high-throughput, low-latency APIs in Go (with PHP and Node.js exposure welcomed) that integrate seamlessly with our AI-driven Customer Data Platform, ensuring sub-second personalization for Fortune 500 brands like Samsung, Nike, L’Oréal, Nestlé, IKEA, and Domino’s.
• • Tackle gnarly scalability puzzles: shard 100 TB of historical behavioral data, optimize Redis caching layers, and tune NSQ queues to guarantee 99.9 % uptime while traffic doubles year over year.
• • Champion clean, testable, and well-documented code—establish coding standards, lead thorough code reviews, and mentor junior engineers so that quality is baked in from day one, not bolted on later.
• • Collaborate in cross-functional agile squads with product managers, data scientists, and UX designers to translate ambitious marketing-tech road-maps into shippable features every two weeks.
• • Continuously monitor, profile, and refactor performance bottlenecks using real-time metrics; turn dashboards red-to-green and share post-mortems that become institutional lore.
• • Contribute to architectural decisions on AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, SQS, Lambda) and evaluate new cloud services that could shave milliseconds off response times or dollars off the bill.

• • Foster an inclusive, high-ownership culture across 30 global offices and 50 nationalities; run internal tech talks, pair-programming sessions, and brown-bag lunches that level-up the entire engineering org.
• • Drive social-impact engineering: dedicate 10 % time to initiatives like Code Academy, SheCodes, and AI Training for Teachers, ensuring the technology you build also uplifts communities in 30 countries.
• • Experiment fearlessly—prototype emerging channels (WhatsApp Business API, RCS, Web Push) and feed learnings back into the core platform so marketers can engage users wherever they are next.
