📋 Description

• • Architect, build, and scale the Golang services that decide—in under 100 ms—which of the 2.2 B daily API calls will match a marketer’s hyper-granular segment, directly influencing the 2 B push notifications, emails, WhatsApp messages, SMS, and in-app campaigns that Insider One delivers every single day.
• • Own the full SDLC of mission-critical micro-services: from writing idiomatic Go code and exhaustive unit/integration tests, to shepherding pull requests through rigorous peer review, to deploying blue/green releases via GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and Kubernetes on AWS EKS with zero downtime.
• • Design low-latency, high-throughput data pipelines that ingest 100 TB of historical user events, transform them through NSQ queues and Kafka streams, cache hot paths in Redis, and persist to sharded MySQL & PostgreSQL clusters—while keeping p99 query latency below 200 ms at global scale.
• • Evolve RESTful and gRPC APIs that expose audience-selection primitives to internal product teams and external partners, ensuring backward compatibility, versioning discipline, and OpenAPI-first documentation that lets any engineer integrate in minutes.
• • Collaborate shoulder-to-shoulder with Data Scientists to embed predictive models—look-alike, churn, lifetime value—directly into the segmentation engine, optimizing feature extraction and model inference paths so marketers get real-time insights without extra clicks.
• • Champion observability: instrument every service with Prometheus metrics, structured logs, and distributed tracing; build Grafana dashboards and custom alerts that surface anomalies before customers notice, then lead incident response and blameless post-mortems.
• • Mentor a growing pod of mid-level and junior engineers through weekly pair-programming, architecture deep-dives, and career-ladder coaching, turning promising talent into the next generation of technical leaders.
• • Drive cost-efficiency and performance initiatives—profile CPU/memory hotspots, tune GC, experiment with ARM-based Graviton nodes, and reduce infra spend while doubling throughput—translating engineering wins into measurable business value.
• • Contribute reusable libraries, CLI tools, and open-source patches that accelerate 1,500+ engineers across 30 global offices, fostering a culture where shared code is the default, not the exception.
• • Influence product roadmap by distilling petabytes of telemetry into actionable insights, presenting data-backed proposals to C-level stakeholders, and shipping features that delight Fortune 500 brands like Samsung, Nike, L’Oréal, and Singapore Airlines.
• • Participate in quarterly OKR planning, sprint ceremonies, and architecture guilds, articulating trade-offs between consistency, latency, and cost so every decision aligns with Insider One’s vision of redefining customer engagement at planetary scale.
• • Stay on the bleeding edge: run POCs with emerging databases (ClickHouse, DuckDB), stream processors (Flink, Materialize), and language features (Go 1.22 arenas), then socialize findings through tech talks and internal RFCs.
