📋 Description
- • Senior Software Engineer on the Identity Management & Personalization Team at ezCater, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining foundational services that manage user identity, authentication, and authorization to ensure secure access and data protection at scale.
- • Modernize the identity stack to enable agentic features, build highly-scalable and fault-tolerant distributed systems in a hybrid monolithic/microservices architecture, and improve system performance continuously.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and business stakeholders to translate customer needs into technical solutions that drive growth, profitability, and satisfaction.
- • Work on impactful platform investments that shape the future of secure, personalized experiences while contributing to a culture of innovation, pragmatism, and transparency.
🎯 Requirements
- • Fullstack experience on a product engineering team, ideally in Go or Ruby on Rails.
- • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and ability to integrate them into daily workflows to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
- • Experience with OAuth2, OIDC, or SAML.
- • Deep knowledge of SQL/relational databases, with Postgres preferred.
- • Experience designing and building large-scale systems and extensive experience designing APIs with API-first development understanding.
- • Desire to work on a backend-heavy platform team and interest in AI-assisted tools to improve development and product quality.
- • Appetite for learning, experimentation, and relentless curiosity to leverage knowledge for product improvement.
- • Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for team events and gatherings.
