📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer, Integrations role at Fleetio focused on building reliable partner-facing experiences and backend systems that power integrations with external systems.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality integration solutions, building and evolving user interfaces with React and TypeScript, developing backend functionality using Ruby on Rails, working with complex data flows, contributing to architectural decisions, writing well-tested code, and mentoring teammates through code reviews.
• Fleetio is a modern fleet management software platform that raised $450M in Series D funding in March 2025, serves thousands of organizations globally, and is a founding member of the Rails Foundation. The Engineering team operates in cross-functional pods focused on customer value, emphasizing collaboration, clear communication, and continuous improvement.
• In this role, you will deepen your full-stack expertise in Ruby on Rails and React/TypeScript, gain experience designing scalable integration systems, improve your ability to translate designs into accessible UIs, contribute to technical architecture decisions, and grow as a mentor and technical leader within a high-performing engineering team.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building production software with Ruby on Rails
• 2+ years of experience building modern, user-focused web applications with React and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of frontend best practices including component architecture, state management, and performance
• Experience working closely with designers to translate designs into polished, accessible user interfaces
• Experience building and consuming APIs and working with external integrations
• Comfort working with data-intensive systems and complex business logic
• Experience writing unit, integration, and UI tests
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
