Senior Software Engineer (Isolation/Sandboxing)

📋 Description

• • Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems with a focus on isolation and sandboxing infrastructure.
• • Build and maintain a high-performance queuing and storage engine that supports enterprise-grade orchestration at scale.
• • Develop API interfaces used by customers, UI teams, and internal systems to enable seamless integration and data flow.
• • Collaborate with UI, connectivity, and DevOps teams to design elegant, scalable solutions to complex distributed systems challenges.
• • Contribute across all phases of the development lifecycle, from architecture and design to testing, deployment, and optimization.
• • Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code in systems-level languages including C, Go, and Rust.
• • Leverage Linux kernel networking primitives such as netfilter, nftables, eBPF, tc, and network namespaces to implement secure and performant isolation mechanisms.
• • Apply deep expertise in L2, L3, and L4 networking protocols to ensure robust, secure, and reliable communication between isolated environments.
• • Optimize and improve existing systems for performance, scalability, and security, with a focus on enterprise-grade reliability.
• • Work with public cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to deploy and manage distributed systems in multi-cloud environments.
• • Utilize Kubernetes concepts to orchestrate and manage containerized workloads in a secure, isolated manner.
• • Debug and resolve complex performance bottlenecks and system failures with precision and speed.
• • Analyze protocol-level behavior to understand discrepancies between specifications and real-world Internet behavior.
• • Drive end-to-end ownership of solutions, including design, implementation, testing, monitoring, and deployment.
• • Work across teams to identify and implement common, sustainable architectural patterns that reduce redundancy and increase reliability.
• • Contribute to open source projects as a means of advancing industry standards and sharing technical expertise.
• • Maintain a strong focus on security, isolation, and sandboxing to ensure enterprise customers can operate with confidence in multi-tenant environments.
• • Solve complex customer-facing problems with attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence.
• • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in distributed systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
• • Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous learning within a polyglot engineering environment.
