  • • Join Parafin Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer on our Partner Platform team, a pivotal role focused on enhancing the developer experience for our partners. In this capacity, you will be instrumental in architecting and implementing industry-leading, developer-first solutions that empower businesses to seamlessly integrate with Parafin's financial tools.
  • • The Partner Platform team is at the core of Parafin's integration strategy, responsible for the foundational systems that enable our partners to connect with our services. This includes developing and maintaining robust data ingestion pipelines, sophisticated DAG-based processing systems, comprehensive public APIs, reliable webhook delivery infrastructure, and efficient sandbox environments. You will also be involved in crafting bespoke partner-specific integrations.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve close collaboration with our engineering and data science teams. Your work will ensure that partner data is processed accurately and reliably, forming the bedrock for critical functions such as underwriting, risk evaluation, and comprehensive reporting workflows. This collaborative effort is essential for maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of our financial services.
  • • The roadmap for the Partner Platform is ambitious, featuring major initiatives focused on platform modernization. You will contribute to evolving our data architecture, enhancing the scalability of our systems, and strengthening the reliability of our asynchronous, event-driven architecture. This presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our technology stack.
  • • As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take direct ownership of critical components within our partner platform infrastructure. This includes leading the development and enhancement of partner data ingestion and sharing systems, refining our public APIs, optimizing external webhook delivery mechanisms, and spearheading innovative new initiatives that leverage our partner-facing interfaces.
  • • You will be a key driver of impactful product initiatives, aligning your efforts with Parafin's overarching product vision for the partner journey. This encompasses the development of the partner-facing dashboard, sophisticated developer tooling, seamless data integrations, and the underlying platform systems that manage data ingestion, API access, and real-time partner updates.
  • • Collaboration is central to this role. You will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders across the company, including product managers, designers, and other engineering teams, to effectively prioritize and design new products and experiments. Your input will be crucial in translating business needs into robust technical solutions.
  • • A core responsibility will be the design and operation of asynchronous, event-driven systems. These systems are vital for reliably processing vast amounts of partner data and ensuring the timely delivery of real-time updates to partner systems, maintaining a seamless and responsive experience.
  • • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices, advocating for best practices in code quality, testing, and operational excellence. Your experience will be invaluable in mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence within the team.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a rapidly growing company. You will be part of a team that is building the financial infrastructure for the future of small businesses, directly contributing to our mission of empowering entrepreneurs through accessible and innovative financial technology.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to build high-quality software, taking immense pride in their craft and delivering solutions that are both robust and scalable. You will be comfortable taking initiative, identifying commonalities across complex problem statements, and designing elegant abstractions that promote maintainability and extensibility.
  • • You will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating a strong ability to navigate ambiguity, embrace challenges, and take full ownership of projects from their initial conception through to successful completion and ongoing operation.
  • • Your work will directly influence the success of our partners by providing them with the tools and infrastructure they need to thrive. This is a chance to be part of a mission-driven company that is making a tangible difference in the small business ecosystem.
