- • As a Senior Software Engineer at Savvy Insurance Services, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in modernizing the wealth management industry by building a digital-first platform that empowers financial advisors with AI-powered tools, automated workflows, and seamless client experiences. Your work will directly contribute to reducing manual tasks for advisors, enabling them to focus more on client relationships and less on administrative overhead, thereby improving both advisor efficiency and client satisfaction in a rapidly growing fintech company backed by top-tier investors.
- • You will own the end-to-end product development lifecycle for large-scale initiatives, from identifying user needs and designing technical solutions to shipping production-ready features that impact both advisors and clients. This includes collaborating closely with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable code while ensuring alignment with business goals and user experience standards.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve writing high-quality, readable, and maintainable full-stack code using preferred technologies such as Ruby on Rails for backend development and Next.js/React for frontend interfaces, while working with SQL databases to build robust, secure web applications.
- • You will apply core web application fundamentals including authentication/authorization, caching strategies, background job processing, and API design—particularly GraphQL—to ensure systems are performant, scalable, and easy to integrate with internal and external services.
- • You will actively participate in cross-functional collaboration, communicating technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and contributing to a culture of transparency, feedback, and continuous improvement across engineering, product, and business teams.
- • You will contribute to the company’s rapid growth phase by helping expand the product offering and scale systems to support increasing advisor adoption and assets under management, which has already surpassed $5.1 billion in under three years.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in full-stack web development within a high-growth fintech context, gain exposure to modern DevOps practices and observability tools, and develop leadership skills through technical mentorship and initiative ownership—positioning you for advancement into senior technical or architectural roles as the company scales.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2-5 years of experience building web applications with a proven track record of shipping features in production environments
- • Full-stack development proficiency, including experience with web frameworks (Ruby on Rails preferred), frontend libraries (Next.js and React preferred), and SQL databases
- • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and convey technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
