📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer role focused on building and evolving data and platform capabilities for mid-frequency trading research workflows within the Unified Platform organization at DRW.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with internal users (analysts, quants, traders) to build intuitive self-service tools, developing software for large-scale data acquisition, storage, accessibility, and visualization, and designing and operating scalable pipelines using big data and lakehouse patterns.
• DRW is a diversified trading firm with over 30 years of experience, headquartered in Chicago with global offices, operating with autonomy, integrity, innovation, and a data-driven culture that values business impact over process.
• In this role, you will improve reliability, observability, performance, and ergonomics of platform services, learn about market microstructure and financial instruments, and contribute to a collaborative, polyglot team culture that adapts quickly to changing business priorities.
