• • As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Payments & Billing at Relevance AI, you will own the design, implementation, and evolution of the core billing and payments infrastructure that enables accurate usage metering, invoicing, and revenue collection for AI-powered products at scale. This is a high-impact, greenfield opportunity in a fast-growing AI company where your work directly supports the ability to monetize innovative agent-based workflows used by industry leaders like Canva, Databricks, and Activision Blizzard.
• • You will design and maintain reliable billing infrastructure integrating with Stripe and Orb, ensuring data accuracy, auditability, and resilience across distributed systems. Your day-to-day includes owning end-to-end payments and billing workflows—such as usage-based pricing, token-level metering, invoicing, and error handling—while improving system reliability, observability, and operational excellence in a business-critical domain.
• • You will partner cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and product teams to align billing outcomes with business needs, ensuring transparency and trust in financial data. This role involves shaping scalable architectures that support complex AI product usage models and evolving pricing strategies as the company grows.
