📋 Description

• As a Senior Software Engineer on the Platform team, you will own the infrastructure, reliability, and developer experience that underpin all of WeTravel’s product engineering, ensuring a secure, scalable, and frictionless environment for global teams.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting and managing AWS environments using Terraform, expanding reliability programs with SLIs/SLOs and incident response, building developer experience through CI/CD and internal tooling, overseeing IT operations and access management, and partnering on technical strategy for platform roadmap.
• WeTravel empowers travel entrepreneurs with tools to launch and grow their businesses, having supported 8,000 organizers and over a million travelers across 150+ countries, with a mission to grow from $1B to $10B in annual travel experiences.
• You will contribute to a high-impact, small team transitioning into a mature platform function, gaining expertise in cloud-native infrastructure, SRE practices, and developer enablement while working with modern technologies like Kubernetes, React/TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, Python microservices, and LLMs.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, containerization, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
• Proven track record designing reliability programs (SLIs/SLOs, on-call, incident management) at scale
• Experience with security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, PCI-DSS) in a SaaS/fintech context
• Excellent communication skills to translate infrastructure complexity into business impact for leadership
• Startup or scale-up mindset: pragmatic, hands-on when needed, bias toward action
