- • Senior Software Engineer will own the full lifecycle of features within Policy & Control domain, from understanding customer pain points with product teams to coding, deployment, and impact measurement.
- • Architect scalable, evolvable systems and data models that prioritize performance, failure isolation, and long-term maintainability for a global SaaS platform.
- • Define and uphold engineering excellence through CI/CD optimizations, testing strategies, and coding standards across frontend and backend stacks.
- • Establish frontend architecture patterns including state management, performance budgets, and comprehensive E2E testing using tools like Cypress.
- • Engineer sophisticated backend solutions involving API versioning, caching strategies, and complex data migration plans.
- • Lead observability and SRE practices by defining SLOs, managing incident responses, and conducting blameless post-mortems.
- • Oversee operational security including secrets hygiene and dependency risk management to ensure a hardened production environment.
- • Shape product direction by translating complex business goals into technical roadmaps and de-risking ambiguous projects through spikes and prototyping.
- • Write design documents that lay the foundation for major platform changes and act as a guardian of technical quality within your squad.
- • Proactively identify and manage technical debt, ensuring investment of engineering effort is focused on high-impact work rather than busywork.
- • Influence and coordinate cross-squad initiatives, aligning stakeholders across teams to resolve technical blockers and drive alignment on shared goals.
- • Contribute to engineering guilds to align on technical topics and standards across the organization.
- • Mentor junior engineers through direct coaching, feedback during code reviews, and modeling best practices in engineering execution.
- • Support Engineering Managers in identifying technical growth areas and raising the overall bar for engineering quality.
- • Leverage AI-augmented workflows daily, including AI-powered code reviews, agentic coding assistants, and AI-connected tools in Jira, GitHub, Slack, and Notion.
- • Use AI as an active collaborator in development—not just a prompt-based tool—expecting candidates to demonstrate understanding and ownership of AI-generated code in interviews.
- • Work in a cross-functional squad with real ownership over a domain, contributing to quarterly goals and long-term vision alongside Product and Engineering Managers.
- • Operate with autonomy and pragmatism, solving complex problems without unnecessary friction while prioritizing impact over effort.
- • Collaborate in-person three days per week at the Barcelona office, requiring proximity to the hub.
- • Communicate and document in English, the official office language.

- • Proven experience architecting scalable, evolvable systems and data models for high-traffic SaaS platforms
- • Demonstrated leadership in defining and upholding engineering standards across CI/CD, testing, and coding practices
- • Experience with frontend architecture patterns including state management, performance budgets, and E2E testing (e.g., Cypress)
- • Hands-on backend engineering expertise in API versioning, caching, and complex data migrations
- • Proven ability to lead observability, SRE practices, and incident response with blameless post-mortems
- • Experience or strong interest in AI-augmented development workflows, including agentic coding and AI-powered code reviews
