📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer - Python role at Guidewire Software, Inc., contributing to a strategic insurance pricing platform that improves experiences for millions of customers worldwide.
• Daily work includes Python development of RESTful APIs using Flask and FastAPI with SQLAlchemy and Pydantic, analyzing requirements, building production-grade solutions, optimizing for SLOs, and collaborating via PR reviews, RFCs/ADRs, and agile ceremonies.
• Part of the Guidewire Pricing and Rating Team, a growing group of ~15 engineers in agile pods working on a young product with a fresh codebase, owning the full software development lifecycle and cooperating with product, sales, and customer success teams.
• Opportunity to deepen expertise in cloud-native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker), machine learning libraries, and high-performance systems while driving technical excellence in a culture valuing radical candor, curiosity, and proactiveness.
