- • Senior Software Engineer role on Reddit Pro team focused on building tools for publishers, brands, and professionals to grow their presence on Reddit through advanced product features and monetization opportunities.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to design, develop, test, and launch new features; reviewing code and design documents; contributing to technical strategy; mentoring engineers; and balancing speed with quality in fast-paced product development.
- • Part of a high-impact, innovative team at Reddit working on Reddit Pro — an initiative empowering businesses to engage with Reddit’s 100k+ active communities and leverage data-driven conversations for growth.
- • Opportunity to shape technical direction, influence product strategy, gain leadership experience in cross-functional projects, and grow expertise in scalable systems while working on novel products from the ground up.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- • 5+ years of hands-on professional software development experience in Go, Python, Ruby, Java, or C++
- • Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift, and designing/maintainable APIs
- • Experience with distributed caching and large-scale data storage systems like Cassandra
- • Proven ability to lead cross-team, cross-functional projects and deliver on schedule
- • Strong communication skills for remote collaboration with technical and non-technical audiences
