- • As a Senior Software Engineer on Docker’s Supply Chain Security team, you will play a pivotal role in securing the modern software supply chain by building and scaling secure, developer-first solutions that protect container images from development through production. Your work will directly impact how millions of developers worldwide build, share, and run applications with confidence, ensuring integrity, compliance, and trust in the Docker ecosystem.
- • You will design, develop, deploy, and monitor microservices and serverless components on AWS, focusing on high-performance, secure delivery of container images and metadata. This includes building and improving automation tooling using GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and Grafana dashboards, while enforcing security and compliance policies across CI/CD pipelines to safeguard the software supply chain.
- • You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to evolve Docker’s registry and SaaS offerings, taking collective ownership of the security posture and developer experience for secure container images. Participation in on-call rotations will require you to respond to incidents, debug production issues, and drive continuous improvements in system reliability and resilience.
- • Docker’s remote-first culture spans the globe, with hubs in Seattle and Paris, uniting over 20 million monthly users and 20 billion image pulls through a shared passion for innovation and exceptional developer experiences. - • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud-native infrastructure, security automation, and policy enforcement frameworks such as SLSA, SOC 2, and FedRAMP. 🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience building, deploying, and monitoring microservices on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
- • Proficiency in modern programming languages, with primary use of Go
- • Strong grasp of software engineering best practices including code review, source control, CI/CD, and testing
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- • Bonus: hands-on experience in infrastructure security, policy enforcement, or compliance frameworks (e.g., SLSA, SOC 2, FedRAMP)
