  • • In this dynamic role, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospective and existing enterprise clients, guiding them through the sales cycle with deep technical acumen and strategic business insight. Your day-to-day will involve conducting in-depth discovery workshops to meticulously understand client pain points and technical environments. You will then craft and deliver compelling, value-centric presentations and demonstrations that clearly articulate how New Relic's platform addresses these specific challenges, highlighting its unique differentiators. A significant part of your responsibility will be to proactively identify and dismantle technical objections, building robust confidence in New Relic's capabilities and paving the way for a successful 'Technical Win'. You will also be tasked with developing and executing proof-of-concept (POC) engagements and pilot programs, meticulously aligning New Relic's value proposition with measurable customer business outcomes and metrics. This hands-on approach ensures clients see tangible benefits and understand the strategic potential of standardizing on the New Relic platform.
  • • You will collaborate closely with Sales Account Executives, Product Management, and executive leadership to develop and execute technical sales strategies that drive revenue growth for the New Relic platform. This involves taking full technical ownership of opportunity pursuits, from initial qualification through to closing, for both new logo acquisition and expansion opportunities within existing customer accounts. Your role extends to building strong, trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders, including C-level executives, and nurturing internal champions for New Relic within the client organization. You will also be a vital conduit of information, providing critical feedback to the Product Management team on potential product enhancements and new features that can address emerging customer needs and unlock further value. Staying abreast of the competitive landscape and market trends will be essential to effectively position New Relic's unique value proposition.

You will deepen your expertise in observability, cloud architecture, and a wide array of modern technologies including AWS, GCP, Azure, DevOps, CI/CD, AIOps, logging, and data analytics. Maintaining a keen awareness of competitive analysis and market differentiation is crucial for effectively positioning New Relic's unique strengths. Building and nurturing strong working relationships with key customer stakeholders, including executives, is paramount, as is cultivating internal champions for New Relic within the customer base. You will also support various marketing initiatives, which may include speaking at industry events, participating in executive briefings, engaging with user groups and conferences, and securing customer references. This comprehensive engagement ensures you are not just a technical expert, but a strategic partner driving mutual success.
  • • To excel in this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of cloud architecture, networking principles, Infrastructure as Code, and serverless computing. Your ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, from IT professionals to business leaders, will be critical. You will also be instrumental in identifying and resolving critical business and technical issues that may arise from customers, partners, or internal colleagues, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience. Your contributions will directly impact the achievement of revenue goals for your assigned territory, making your role a significant driver of New Relic's commercial success.
