  • • As a Senior Solution Engineer at NICE Ltd., you will be a pivotal player in the NICE CXone presales process, driving the technical success of our cutting-edge cloud contact center solutions. You will engage directly with prospective and existing clients, conducting in-depth discovery sessions to meticulously gather and analyze their unique voice and data connectivity requirements. Your expertise will be instrumental in engineering robust and scalable interconnections that seamlessly integrate our platform with customer environments and their third-party vendors.
  • • Following initial customer interest, you will transition into a critical design role, architecting the precise technical components for voice and data services. This involves translating complex customer needs into practical, efficient, and reliable solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the NICE CXone platform. You will also be responsible for supporting existing customers who require modifications, upgrades, or expansions to their current connectivity.
  • • This role demands a deep and mastery-level understanding of the comprehensive suite of voice and data services offered by NICE CXone. You must be adept at articulating the full functionality of these services and clearly communicating the technical interconnection requirements to both customers and their external partners, ensuring a smooth and successful implementation.
  • • You will be tasked with developing innovative and practical solutions for a diverse range of complex customer applications. Your designs will need to be imaginative, thorough, and fully aligned with NICE's strategic objectives and the specific goals of our clients, ensuring that our solutions deliver maximum value and competitive advantage.
  • • A key responsibility will be the meticulous documentation of proposals for both standard and customized service offerings. This includes preparing detailed project plans, comprehensive order summaries, and technical specifications for presentation to end-users, their technical teams, and relevant stakeholders, ensuring clarity and buy-in.
  • • You will hold the authority to approve designs for sale once they have been accepted by the customer, signifying your confidence in the technical viability and alignment of the proposed solution with customer requirements.
  • • Acting as a critical escalation point, you will be responsible for resolving complex vendor hardware, software, and application issues that are directly associated with the products and services recommended and implemented. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and minimizing disruption.
  • • As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will also serve as a mentor to Cloud Connectivity Engineers, providing them with expert design guidance, sharing best practices, and fostering their technical development within the team.
  • • You will be instrumental in organizing and coordinating the necessary resources, both internal and external, to successfully accomplish projects and achieve organizational goals, ensuring efficient project execution and timely delivery.
  • • Establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative working relationships with various internal departments (Sales, Service Delivery, Engineering) and external partners (vendors, customer IT teams) is essential for overall order coordination success and seamless project delivery.
  • • This role involves approximately 25% travel, requiring you to visit customer sites, attend industry events, or collaborate with remote teams as needed to support sales efforts and project implementations.
  • • You will leverage your advanced knowledge of networking principles, including the OSI model, Ethernet and IP architectures, VoIP protocols (SIP, MGCP, SBC), and IP addressing (IPv4, IPv6), to design and configure solutions.
  • • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Visio for documentation and presentation purposes is expected.
  • • You will be expected to demonstrate strong customer service, technical support, problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical, and decision-making abilities to effectively address client needs and technical challenges.
  • • The ability to present solutions effectively to stakeholders at all levels, in both virtual and face-to-face settings, is a key aspect of this role.
  • • Experience with the provisioning of Dedicated TDM and IP services, as well as building switching and routing translations, will be highly advantageous.
  • • Familiarity with the installation and implementation of telephony-related equipment such as PBXs, Routers, Firewalls, and Switches will further strengthen your candidacy.
  • • You will be a highly organized, motivated, and self-sufficient individual with a strong drive to succeed and contribute to NICE's market leadership.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
  • • 6+ years of Telecommunications Circuit Design Engineering or Analysis experience.
  • • 4+ years in a Sales or Solutions Engineering role.
  • • Demonstrated working knowledge of telecom principles and concepts.
  • • Advanced knowledge in architecture design and configuration of a wide array of networking and equipment including, OSI model service design with strong emphasis on Ethernet and IP architectures, VoIP Network protocols and designs (SIP, MGCP, SBC, etc), IP4 and IPv6 addressing.
  • • Proven ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with industry personnel, vendors, sales, service delivery, and engineering personnel.
