- • Serve as a technical expert within the Sales team to enable software vendors to integrate and leverage Paddle’s Merchant of Record platform for payments, subscriptions, and tax compliance.
- • Become a deep subject matter expert on Paddle’s product suite, including checkout flows, merchant dashboard, and RESTful APIs, and communicate these capabilities to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Develop customized integration plans and provide sample code to guide enterprise software sellers through successful implementation of Paddle’s solutions.
- • Partner directly with Account Executives during customer calls to address technical objections, demonstrate product value, and accelerate deal closure.
- • Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure smooth onboarding and launch of new customers, removing technical friction during implementation.
- • Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal Product and Engineering teams, translating customer feedback into actionable product requirements and bug reports.
- • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of public-facing and internal documentation, including integration guides, API references, and best practice playbooks.
- • Engage with C-suite executives and senior developers to align Paddle’s offerings with their business goals and technical architectures.
- • Support the expansion of Paddle’s global footprint by adapting integration strategies to meet regional compliance, tax, and payment method requirements across 245 territories.
- • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve customer success outcomes, product usability, and sales enablement materials.
- • Represent Paddle at industry events and customer workshops to showcase technical expertise and strengthen brand credibility in the SaaS payments space.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving payments ecosystems, subscription billing models, and financial compliance standards to provide authoritative guidance to clients.
- • Proactively identify and escalate technical blockers or product gaps impacting customer adoption and retention.
- • Foster a collaborative, customer-centric culture by sharing insights across the Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in sales engineering or solutions architecture with enterprise-level clients
- • Solid experience with full or partial stack development, application frameworks, and common API interfaces
- • Demonstrated experience integrating and working with APIs in production environments
- • Experience in payments systems, accounting practices, or subscription management
- • Strong interpersonal and customer management skills developed in a client-facing role
- • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
