📋 Description

• As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Envelio GmbH, you will serve as a trusted advisor to utility customers, helping them understand and unlock value from the Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP) to accelerate the global energy transition.
• You will own customer implementation projects end-to-end, guiding customers from initial onboarding through successful deployment and long-term adoption, while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to influence future product development.
• Envelio is a fast-growing U.S. arm of an award-winning clean-tech software company headquartered in Cologne, Germany, revolutionizing the utility industry by enabling utilities to automate and optimize hosting capacity, interconnection requests, and long-term grid investments.
• You will have the opportunity to shape the future of clean energy by working at the intersection of utilities, product, and sales, gaining deep expertise in power systems, grid planning, and utility operations while contributing to the scalability of a mission-driven clean-tech startup.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in utility operations, grid planning, power systems, or technical customer-facing roles within the energy sector
• Proven experience leading end-to-end implementation projects for complex software platforms, preferably in utility or energy technology environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and act as a trusted advisor to utility customers
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, conferences, and the Boston office as required
• Preferred: Experience with distribution system operations, DER integration, or grid modernization initiatives
