- • As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Grafana Labs, you will be at the forefront of customer engagement, serving as a critical bridge between our innovative open-source observability solutions and the businesses that rely on them. You will be an integral part of the Solutions Engineering team, a group dedicated to enabling Grafana Labs' worldwide growth by empowering potential and existing customers with deep technical understanding and ensuring their success.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to act as a customer-facing product expert. This involves a multifaceted approach to customer interaction, including delivering compelling product and technical presentations, conducting hands-on enablement sessions, and guiding customers through technical evaluations. You will meticulously listen to prospects and customers, deeply understanding their unique requirements and challenges.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to ask insightful questions that elicit comprehensive information, enabling you to translate complex customer needs into elegant solutions leveraging Grafana Labs' technology. You will be the technical authority, capable of articulating the Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy with clarity and conviction.
- • You will partner closely with the Sales team, providing essential technical expertise to help qualify and close opportunities. Your ability to own the technical engagement with customers will be crucial in navigating and closing complex deals, supported by your advanced competitive knowledge, technical acumen, and established credibility.
- • You will be a vital conduit for feedback, effectively communicating with both customers and internal teams. This includes relaying insights on our products and the evolving competitive landscape back to our Product Management and Engineering teams, thereby influencing product development and strategy.
- • Your role will extend to driving product conversations by identifying and addressing customer needs and pain points. You will proactively engage with customers to ensure they are not only satisfied but also deriving maximum value from Grafana Labs' offerings.
- • Beyond direct customer interaction, you will contribute to the broader enablement ecosystem. This involves collaborating with your team to enhance documentation, author insightful blog posts, record informative videos, contribute to knowledge base articles, and create other public or private enablement materials that support our user community and sales efforts.
- • You will be expected to bring a strong technical mindset, coupled with a genuine desire for continuous technical growth. This role demands first-class written and oral communication skills, essential for collaborating effectively within our remote-first internal teams and engaging with a diverse global customer base.
