  • • Partner with Account Executives to understand customer needs, shape deal strategy, and co-own sales outcomes in cybersecurity solutions.
  • • Lead discovery sessions, product presentations, and live demos, tailoring messaging to align with customer context while maintaining consistency with Eye Security’s standardized offering.
  • • Evaluate technical fit at early stages of sales cycles to identify risks, eliminate weak opportunities, and ensure alignment between customer requirements and Eye Security’s capabilities.
  • • Provide an independent, data-driven assessment of deal health and closing probability during sales forecasts to inform leadership and resource allocation.
  • • Advise customers on their current security landscape with clear, actionable, and practical recommendations grounded in real-world threat detection and response.
  • • Draft and deliver comprehensive RFP/RFI responses that accurately reflect customer needs and align with internal technical and operational capacities.
  • • Serve as the primary technical contact for prospects and customers, resolving the majority of technical inquiries independently and escalating to SOC or engineering teams only when necessary.
  • • Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into business-focused language for both technical stakeholders and C-level executives to drive consensus and decision-making.
  • • Navigate complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers, long timelines, and varying organizational priorities across European markets.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and SOC teams to ensure accurate messaging, timely delivery, and seamless handoffs from pre-sales to post-sale implementation.
  • • Remain current on evolving cyber threats, detection technologies, and industry compliance frameworks to maintain credibility and provide authoritative guidance during customer engagements.
  • • Actively contribute to the development and refinement of sales collateral, demo environments, and technical playbooks to scale the pre-sales function across growing markets.
  • • Represent Eye Security at industry events, webinars, and customer workshops to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership in the cybersecurity and cyber insurance space.
  • • Balance technical rigor with commercial acumen to ensure sales efforts are both technically sound and commercially viable.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 6+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, or similar role in cybersecurity, MSSP, or a related technology environment
  • • Proven experience navigating complex B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and extended deal timelines
  • • Strong technical acumen to assess feasibility, engage technical stakeholders, and interpret customer requirements
  • • Fluency in both English and German, with ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and C-level executives
  • • Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, business-focused messaging
  • • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills with adaptability in dynamic customer discussions
