• • As a Senior Solutions Engineer specializing in Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM) at Okta, you will be a pivotal member of the Global Presales team, acting as a trusted advisor to customers and partners. Your primary role will be to articulate the value and technical intricacies of Okta's Identity Platform, with a specific focus on ISPM and emerging Agentic AI solutions, to a diverse range of clients.
• • You will engage strategically with technical and engineering leaders, supporting conversations around emerging trends, industry best practices, and identity-driven digital transformation. This involves crafting executive-level messaging and participating in high-level strategic discussions to ensure Okta's solutions directly address customer business outcomes.
• • A key responsibility is to lead in-depth technical discovery sessions, asking insightful questions to uncover prospective customers' business requirements and effectively communicating how Okta's ISPM and Agentic AI solutions can solve their unique challenges.
• • You will be responsible for delivering compelling, interactive presentations and custom product demonstrations, adeptly tailoring your communication style to resonate with audiences across all levels of technical and identity expertise.
• • A significant part of your role will involve whiteboarding solution architectures, visually modeling how Okta's ISPM solution will integrate with and support customer business requirements, demonstrating a deep understanding of their existing infrastructure and future needs.
• • You will design, build, and execute well-defined, outcome-focused Proofs of Concept (POCs) to showcase the tangible benefits and capabilities of Okta's offerings.
• • Maintaining a broad and deep technical understanding of the entire Okta identity product lines, including the underlying technologies and protocols, is crucial for success in this role.
• • You will craft engaging solution content that effectively positions Okta's value proposition across multiple business units, including software engineering, operations, product management, and general business stakeholders.
• • Providing strategic and technical guidance to other Solutions Engineering teams, both within the Okta and Auth0 platforms, will be essential for fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable presales organization.
• • You will collaborate closely with the Global Office of the Field CTO team, contributing actionable insights gathered from the field, validating customer needs, and identifying recurring trends to inform Okta's Product and Engineering teams.
• • Delivering impactful keynote presentations, webinars, and technical sessions at industry events and customer conferences will be a key avenue for establishing Okta's thought leadership.
• • Contributing to the development of frameworks, tools, and content that empower Solutions Engineering teams to execute their roles more effectively is a vital aspect of field enablement.
• • You will partner with sales leadership to identify and address critical business opportunities and challenges, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and sales strategies.
• • Driving cross-functional collaboration across various departments to ensure the seamless execution of global initiatives will be a continuous effort.
• • You are expected to innovate in the development of new tools and techniques that enhance operational excellence and drive momentum within the presales organization.
• • Partnering with Enablement and Field CTO teams to drive regional events and align product messaging for regional Go-To-Market (GTM) and Solutions Engineering (SE) teams will be important for consistent messaging and execution.
• • You will represent Okta as a recognized thought leader in the identity and security space, influencing industry standards and potentially participating in relevant technical advisory boards.
• • Working closely with OFCTO teams, you will act as an advocate for customer-driven innovation and market trends, providing crucial input to influence product development and strategy.
• • You will support, derive, and champion strategic initiatives that enhance Okta's market differentiation and overall business impact, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of identity security.
