• • As a Senior Solutions Engineer, Strategic Accounts, at Okta, you will be at the forefront of driving the adoption of our world-class Identity Platform within Fortune 500 organizations. This pivotal role involves engaging with customers across the entire development lifecycle, leveraging your expertise in technical solutions and business acumen to address complex challenges.
• • You will be instrumental in collaborating with Account Executives to craft and execute strategic territory and account plans, identifying and maximizing opportunities within key enterprise accounts. Your role will be crucial in understanding the unique business and technical landscapes of these strategic clients.
• • A core responsibility will be conducting in-depth research and discovery to thoroughly understand customer requirements. This involves asking detailed, clarifying questions to uncover their true needs and pain points, and then effectively communicating the business value of adopting Okta's cloud security technology to solve these problems.
• • You will be responsible for the successful delivery of Proofs of Concept (POCs) for customers, particularly those with complex and nuanced use cases. This will require close collaboration with various Okta engineering teams to ensure successful outcomes and demonstrate the full capabilities of the Okta platform.
• • A significant part of your role will involve crafting compelling technical content. This includes developing and delivering persuasive sales presentations and dynamic product demonstrations that clearly articulate how the Okta platform can be implemented to meet specific customer business needs and use cases.
• • You will act as a vital conduit between our customers and internal teams. By distilling and communicating customer needs, technical feedback, and market insights, you will directly influence the direction of Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales strategies, ensuring Okta remains at the cutting edge of identity solutions.
• • The role demands a deep understanding of how to present and educate a diverse range of stakeholders, from technical developers and product managers to C-level executives. You will need to tailor your communication style and technical depth to resonate with each audience, building trust and demonstrating Okta's value proposition.
• • You will leverage various communication channels, including presentations, email, phone, and social media, to build strong relationships and engage effectively with customers.
• • Empathy is key; you will need to quickly discern customers' true technical needs by asking insightful questions and proposing solutions that precisely target those requirements.

• • While this role is primarily remote, it does involve travel, typically between 10-25%, to client sites and potentially for in-person onboarding and team meetings.
• • The role requires an initial in-person onboarding at our San Francisco, CA HQ office during the first week of employment, ensuring a strong foundation and integration into the Okta culture.
