- • Lead all phases of strategic sourcing for assigned initiatives, deals, and agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry best practices
- • Negotiate supplier contracts to secure optimal cost structures, service guarantees, and sustainable supplier relationships that deliver win-win outcomes
- • Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models and market intelligence to inform sourcing decisions
- • Develop and implement supplier agreements in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders including legal, finance, operations, IT, and HR
- • Research and anticipate shifts in supplier negotiating power within assigned categories to proactively mitigate risks and capitalize on market opportunities
- • Monitor and analyze industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance supply chain resilience and identify innovation-driven savings
- • Provide input into vendor selection processes and build long-term relationships through trade shows, supplier meetings, and industry conferences
- • Support short-term and long-range business planning and budget development aligned with strategic goals and financial targets
- • Administer vendor governance programs by defining performance metrics, setting improvement goals, and tracking supplier performance against KPIs
- • Ensure strict compliance with company sourcing policies, procedures, and legal requirements across all contractual and operational activities
- • Identify and address value leakage within key supplier agreements to protect procurement savings and optimize spend
- • Deliver cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis of cost drivers and challenging traditional sourcing approaches
- • Manage and mentor a team of direct reports, including recruitment, training, coaching, performance reviews, and professional development
- • Support global sourcing initiatives by collaborating with matrixed teams, including offshore analyst teams and international outsourced providers
- • Forecast future demand, contract renewals, and service expansions based on vendor lead times and business growth projections
- • Utilize advanced MS Office and Excel skills to analyze spending patterns, model financial scenarios, and generate actionable insights
- • Present findings and strategic recommendations to mid-level and senior executive leadership across internal functions and supplier organizations
- • Apply legal terminology and contract language effectively in third-party agreements to protect organizational interests
- • Drive supplier diversity initiatives and ensure inclusive vendor selection practices across all sourcing activities
- • Leverage sourcing and supplier management concepts to optimize assigned categories and elevate overall procurement efficiency
- • Execute projects that deliver cost optimization, service improvement, and stakeholder alignment while adhering to timelines and budget constraints
- • Utilize ServiceNow and Apttus platforms to manage sourcing workflows, contracts, and supplier data (preferred)
- • Maintain oversight of the outsourcing portfolio and opportunity catalog to ensure comprehensive visibility and control over outsourced functions
