This 12-month contract position is a strategic opportunity to leverage your expertise in talent discovery and pipeline development to fuel Kong's rapid growth in the dynamic API and AI infrastructure space.
- • You will be the driving force behind proactive sourcing strategies, meticulously crafting and executing plans to uncover passive candidates across a diverse range of disciplines. This includes highly sought-after engineering and product talent, essential go-to-market professionals in sales and technical enablement, and key business operations roles that underpin our success.
- • Your primary mission will be to build deep, high-quality talent pipelines. This involves mastering advanced Boolean searches, expertly navigating LinkedIn Recruiter, and exploring niche forums, online communities, and alternative outreach channels to connect with individuals who may not be actively seeking new opportunities.
- • You will be empowered to utilize a wide array of creative sourcing tools and platforms. This includes leveraging developer-centric resources like GitHub and Stack Overflow, as well as engaging with specialized online groups and communities where top technical talent congregates, ensuring we reach candidates wherever they are.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve exceptional candidate engagement. You will be responsible for crafting personalized, compelling outreach messages that not only capture the attention of passive talent but also pique their interest in Kong's mission and opportunities, effectively converting them into engaged and qualified candidates.
- • Beyond initial engagement, you will cultivate and expand our talent networks by nurturing relationships with prospects over time. This long-term approach ensures that even if a candidate isn't the right fit for a role today, they remain a valuable connection for future opportunities.

🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of dedicated sourcing experience, with a significant portion in high-growth technology companies or environments focused on technical roles.
- • Expert-level proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and a deep understanding of advanced Boolean search techniques for effective candidate identification.
- • Proven track record of successfully sourcing passive candidates in competitive and challenging talent markets.
- • Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft compelling outreach messages and build strong professional networks.
- • Ability to manage multiple search priorities simultaneously, demonstrating a strong bias for results and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
