• As a Senior Staff Backend Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. • Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining the core infrastructure that supports our rapidly growing digital asset exchange. This includes developing microservices, optimizing database performance, ensuring system reliability, and implementing cutting-edge solutions to handle massive transaction volumes and real-time data streams.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, product managers, and QA specialists, to translate business requirements into elegant and efficient technical solutions. • Contribute to the strategic roadmap of our backend infrastructure, evaluating new technologies and methodologies to ensure our platform remains at the forefront of innovation in the fast-paced digital asset industry.
• Design and implement APIs that are secure, performant, and easy to integrate with, enabling seamless communication between various internal services and external partners.
• Work with large-scale data processing and analytics pipelines, ensuring data integrity and providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, often under pressure, demonstrating a calm and methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Champion best practices in software development, including test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and robust monitoring and alerting.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing timely and effective support for critical production systems.
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks that enhance developer productivity and streamline the development lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in backend engineering, distributed systems, and the cryptocurrency/blockchain domain, bringing innovative ideas to the team.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Backend Engineer or similar role, with a strong track record of designing and building scalable, high-performance distributed systems.
• Expertise in at least one modern backend programming language (e.g., Go, Java, Python, Node.js) and associated frameworks.
• Deep understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), including performance tuning and schema design.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous communication patterns (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Strong understanding of system design principles, data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools for production systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
