• • As a Senior Staff Data Scientist in Guest & Host Marketplace AI at Airbnb, you will lead innovation in AI and causal inference to understand guest behavior, detect intent, and build data products that power personalized discovery across the Homes, Experiences, and Services marketplace.
• • Your day-to-day will involve analyzing granular user behavior and sequence datasets, partnering with product and engineering to drive technical frameworks, building prototypes using AI toolkits, evaluating hypotheses through experiments, and influencing leadership with data-driven recommendations.
• • You will join the Guest Experience team, which owns Search and Discovery, Merchandising, and the end-to-end online software experience, working to enhance how guests connect with authentic stays and experiences globally.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in causal inference, personalized recommendation systems, and marketplace AI while shaping Airbnb’s data strategy to improve guest conversion and engagement at scale.
