📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end data-science lifecycle for Fortune-500 and high-growth clients, translating complex business questions into production-grade AI solutions that generate measurable ROI within weeks, not months.
• Architect, code, and review scalable ML pipelines in Python or R, leveraging Classification, Regression, Forecasting, Anomaly Detection, Market-Mix Modeling, Predictive Analytics, Unsupervised Learning, Recommendation Systems, NLP, and Optimization to solve real-world problems across retail, finance, healthcare, and logistics domains.
• Lead the design and deployment of generative-AI applications—RAG systems, text-to-SQL engines, and LLM-powered agents—on AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring containerized micro-services (Docker, Kubernetes) meet enterprise-grade security, latency, and compliance standards.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into crisp technical designs: run discovery workshops, map KPIs to model objectives, choose the right algorithms, and create architecture blueprints that balance accuracy, scalability, and cost.
• Establish non-functional benchmarks (latency <100 ms, 99.9 % uptime, GDPR/CCPA compliance) and embed them into CI/CD pipelines so every release meets or exceeds client SLAs.
• Conduct rigorous code and design reviews, focusing on extensibility, security, design patterns, and user experience; mentor junior data-scientists through pair-programming and feedback loops that turn good code into great code.
• Drive proof-of-concepts that de-risk new technologies—vector databases, GPU-accelerated inference, graph neural networks—and present findings to client CTOs with clarity, data, and a recommended go/no-go path.
• Troubleshoot cross-environment issues spanning Spark clusters, SageMaker endpoints, and on-prem Kubernetes; perform root-cause analysis that slashes debugging time from days to hours.
• Champion a flat, feedback-rich culture where every team member’s viewpoint is heard; empower colleagues to become solution owners, not ticket takers, by running internal tech talks and brown-bag sessions.
• Travel to client sites up to once a month to white-board architectures, run model-governance workshops, and build trust with stakeholders from data-engineers to C-suite executives.
• Continuously scan the horizon for emerging tools—LangChain, LlamaIndex, Kubeflow, Feast—and rapidly upskill the team through curated learning paths and hands-on labs.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on data-science experience with deep expertise in ML fundamentals, statistics & probability, data analysis & visualization, SQL, and model packaging & deployment.
• Proven delivery of generative-AI solutions—RAG pipelines, text-to-SQL, prompt-engineering—using Python or R in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Production-grade experience containerizing and orchestrating models with Docker and Kubernetes; familiarity with MLOps tooling (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker Pipelines) is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and elevate team members, fostering a collaborative, flat culture where feedback drives continuous improvement.
• Exceptional communication skills—able to distill complex technical trade-offs into clear narratives for both engineers and business stakeholders.
