- • As a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer on Reddit’s GenAI Platform team, you will define and lead the vision for a large-scale generative AI infrastructure that powers recommendations, content discovery, and user quantification across Growth, Ads, Feeds, and Core ML teams.
- • Day to day, you will design and implement the LLM Gateway with unified API endpoints, rate/token limit management, intelligent failover, and observability; drive MLOps and LLMOps standards; shape enterprise-grade RAG and agentic AI workflows; and partner with engineering, product, and leadership to align platform strategy with company goals.
- • You will join a high-impact Machine Learning Platform team at Reddit, a community-driven platform with 100,000+ active communities and 126 million daily active unique visitors, where your work directly enables scalable, reliable GenAI product development across the organization.
- • In this role, you will establish technical direction for GenAI platform evolution, champion developer experience and operational excellence, and turn emerging AI capabilities into a scalable, production-ready platform strategy with long-term impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in ML Engineering, AI Platform Engineering, or Cloud AI Deployment roles
- • Proven track record of leading technical strategy and delivering AI platforms in cloud-based production environments at scale
- • Deep experience operating Kubernetes and other orchestration systems in large-scale production environments
- • Proficiency with cloud-based technologies (AWS, Google Cloud Storage, Terraform) and ML programming languages (Go, Python)
- • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- • Strong focus on scalability, reliability, performance, and developer experience
