📋 Description

• Build and launch entirely new AI-native products from zero, operating with high autonomy in a small, high-caliber skunkworks team focused on 0→1 innovation.
• Continuously explore emerging AI trends in interfaces, orchestration, agents, and autonomy through hands-on experimentation and ecosystem research across platforms like GitHub, Product Hunt, Reddit, and X.
• Stay deeply embedded in the AI ecosystem by engaging with founder networks, emerging startups, technical communities, and events to identify unmet needs and future product opportunities.
• Rapidly prototype, validate, and iterate on product ideas using minimal resources, prioritizing execution over long planning cycles and leveraging no-code, low-code, or AI-assisted tooling as needed.
• Use structured research, user conversations, and fast feedback loops to evaluate the viability and strategic fit of product ideas for n8n’s long-term direction (1–3 year horizon).
• Work directly with n8n’s founder and Product leadership to workshop ideas, challenge assumptions, and pressure-test product hypotheses in real time.
• Translate ambiguous, high-uncertainty opportunities into actionable product bets with clear reasoning, data, and prototype-driven validation.
• Share discoveries and insights widely across the organization to ensure n8n remains ahead of the AI landscape and aligns its broader roadmap with emerging trends.
• Operate with a scrappy, execution-first mindset—building, experimenting, and unblocking progress independently without reliance on large teams or formal processes.
• Contribute to shaping the strategic future of n8n by identifying non-obvious, high-impact opportunities that others overlook, with a focus on AI-native workflows and automation.
• Collaborate across product, design, and engineering to align on rapid prototypes and go-to-market approaches, bringing clear communication and structured thinking to ambiguous situations.
• Maintain deep product intuition combined with analytical rigor to determine whether an idea is worth pursuing, scaling, or pivoting based on real-world signals.
• Drive innovation in a remote-first environment where ownership, speed, and builder energy are core values, with direct exposure to senior leadership and company-wide impact.
• Empower the broader n8n community by building products that extend the platform’s capabilities for 650,000+ active developers and technical teams globally.
• Participate in company hackathons and product exploration sessions to prototype bold ideas and foster a culture of invention.
• Leverage an unlimited AI budget to experiment with cutting-edge tools and maximize productivity and creativity in product development.
• Contribute to n8n’s open-source ethos by using and supporting open tools, and receive $100/month to financially back open-source projects you care about.

🎯 Requirements

• 🚀 0→1 product building experience: You’ve built and launched products from scratch, ideally in the AI space, and know how to move from idea to real-world validation quickly.
• 🤖 AI-native product intuition: You deeply understand how AI is reshaping user behavior, workflows, interfaces, and product experiences.
• 🛠️ Hands-on execution: You’re comfortable building, prototyping, experimenting, and operating with minimal structure or support.
• 🧠 Product intuition & problem-solving: You combine strong product instincts with structured thinking and can quickly validate whether an idea is worth pursuing.
