- • Lead full-stack product marketing for AI-focused products within 1Password’s Unified Access suite, including secrets management, privileged access management, and non-human identity capabilities.
- • Define and own the market narrative that reframes 1Password around how developers and AI agents work today, ensuring alignment with evolving identity security requirements.
- • Craft messaging and positioning that resonates with two distinct audiences: security leaders (CISOs, IT executives) and engineers (developers, DevOps), without diluting technical accuracy or strategic clarity.
- • Drive product launches from positioning through competitive displacement, with a proven track record of unseating incumbents in crowded cybersecurity markets.
- • Build field-ready enablement assets including battlecards, discovery presentations, objection handling docs, and technical briefs that empower sales teams to confidently articulate 1Password’s AI identity security value.
- • Translate complex technical concepts—such as runtime credential delivery, zero-knowledge encryption, secrets brokering, and agent governance—into clear, repeatable, and actionable customer-facing content.
- • Partner with Solutions Marketing to develop validated competitive differentiation in the AI identity security market and own market leadership claims.
- • Identify emerging market trends before they are widely recognized and proactively position 1Password as a category leader in AI-native identity security.
- • Contribute directly to product roadmap development by surfacing field feedback, customer verbatim insights, analyst intelligence, and competitive signals to product management and senior leadership.
- • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to product, sales, and marketing leadership, influencing organizational objectives and GTM strategy.
- • Mentor and elevate colleagues across the product marketing team and broader organization through feedback, frameworks, and collaborative work.
- • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with external stakeholders including analysts, customers, and industry partners; represent 1Password in analyst briefings, keynote events, and thought leadership forums.
- • Author bylines, blog posts, talk tracks, and keynote content that articulate 1Password’s vision in AI identity security with authority and presence.
- • Use AI agents as a force multiplier for research, synthesis, and drafting—while retaining full ownership of strategy, narrative, and judgment; distinguish between AI-generated output and human-crafted insight.
- • Ensure all marketing initiatives are grounded in deep domain expertise in secrets management, privileged access management, and non-human identity security.
- • Maintain hands-on familiarity with the developer toolchain: IDEs, GitHub Actions, CI/CD platforms, and associated secrets management patterns.
- • Support the broader PMM team in unifying the 1Password platform story, ensuring AI capabilities are seamlessly integrated into the Unified Access narrative.
- • Drive measurable outcomes by turning sales engagement signals into repeatable field motions that accelerate deal velocity and improve win rates.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience with deep expertise in Secrets Management, Privileged Access Management (PAM), or non-human identity
- • Hands-on experience marketing PAM, secrets management, or credential governance solutions, including leading products from positioning through launch to competitive displacement
- • Strong technical understanding of runtime credential delivery, zero-knowledge encryption, secrets brokering, and architectural challenges of long-lived secrets
- • Proven ability to market technically complex infrastructure products to both security leaders and engineers with equal effectiveness
- • Demonstrated experience in competitive markets where winning required category redefinition, not just market entry
- • Ability to use AI agents as a force multiplier while maintaining full ownership of strategy, narrative, and judgment
