You will architect low-latency, fault-tolerant systems that process millions of payment events per hour, ensuring 99.99 % uptime across D2C and partner channels. • Design and evolve a multi-tenant, domain-driven microservices stack in Java that handles acquisition, retention, and payment orchestration. Your blueprints will power subscription onboarding in <200 ms, intelligent retry logic that lifts renewal rates by double digits, and extensible integrations with UPI Autopay, card mandates, wallets, and emerging global rails. • Lead deep-dive performance and scalability initiatives—profile JVMs, tune MySQL/Cassandra/Redis clusters, and eliminate hot partitions—to keep p99 latencies under 100 ms even during IPL finals or marquee show drops when traffic spikes 10×. • Translate complex product goals into an executable technical roadmap. Break epics into sprint-sized deliverables, sequence migrations, and coordinate zero-downtime releases across 50+ microservices and 3 AWS regions. • Champion code quality and engineering excellence. Establish design patterns, enforce test coverage >80 %, and institute chaos drills that validate circuit breakers, idempotency keys, and distributed saga rollbacks. • Be the go-to authority for live-site reliability. Triage SEV-1 incidents, drive blameless RCAs, and codify actionable insights into SLOs, runbooks, and automated guardrails that prevent recurrence. • Mentor a high-caliber team of 15–20 backend, data, and DevOps engineers. Conduct architecture reviews, pair program on gnarly concurrency bugs, and grow the next generation of staff engineers through crisp feedback and career roadmaps. • Collaborate seamlessly with product managers, data scientists, finance, and compliance teams.
