📋 Description

• • Architect the next generation of Findem’s People Intelligence platform, owning the design and evolution of a high-throughput, low-latency backend that ingests billions of public and private data points to surface talent insights for Fortune 1000 customers.
• • Lead a cross-functional pod of 6-10 backend, data, and ML engineers to deliver end-to-end features—from ideation and technical design to production rollout—while championing clean, testable, and well-documented TypeScript code that scales to 10× current load.
• • Drive the migration of monolithic services to a containerized microservices architecture on AWS EKS, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform to achieve 99.99 % uptime and sub-second query response times for real-time talent analytics dashboards.
• • Establish and enforce best practices for observability, including distributed tracing, centralized logging, and SLO-based alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog; reduce mean-time-to-recovery (MTTR) by 40 % within your first year.
• • Partner with product management and data science to integrate generative AI models into the platform, enabling features such as AI-generated job descriptions, candidate summaries, and predictive attrition models while ensuring ethical AI governance and compliance.
• • Optimize MongoDB clusters for multi-terabyte datasets, implementing sharding, indexing, and aggregation pipelines that cut query latency by 50 % and storage costs by 30 %; mentor engineers on schema design and performance tuning.
• • Design and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs that serve both web and mobile clients, enforcing backward compatibility, rate-limiting, and security standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT, and fine-grained RBAC).
• • Champion a culture of continuous delivery by refining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Argo CD) that enable multiple daily releases with zero-downtime blue-green deployments and automated rollback strategies.
• • Act as the technical escalation point for critical production incidents, performing root-cause analyses and post-mortems that translate lessons learned into durable architectural improvements.
