- • Own the end-to-end architecture and delivery of flagship product features that directly impact hundreds of thousands of tradespeople across North America. You will design, code, test, and ship high-scale services that power scheduling, dispatch, payments, and customer engagement for a trillion-dollar industry that has been starved of modern technology.
- • Spend roughly 70 % of your time hands-on in the codebase—writing elegant C#, optimizing SQL Server queries, and crafting resilient Web APIs—while the remaining 30 % is devoted to shaping requirements, mentoring senior and junior engineers, and evangelizing best practices across multiple squads.
- • Partner daily with product managers, UX researchers, and customer-facing teams to translate real-world field pain points into intuitive, pixel-perfect user experiences. Your prototypes often become the north-star that aligns design, engineering, and go-to-market stakeholders.
- • Champion a culture of observability and operational excellence. You will define SLIs/SLOs, instrument distributed tracing, and lead blameless post-mortems so that every release is more reliable than the last.
- • Drive cross-team technical strategy for major initiatives such as real-time mobile sync, AI-powered pricebook optimization, and multi-tenant data isolation. Your technical specs are crisp, forward-looking, and balanced with pragmatic trade-offs.
- • Act as a force-multiplier through code reviews, pair programming, and brown-bag sessions. Senior engineers seek your guidance on everything from domain modeling to advanced concurrency patterns.
- • Contribute to ServiceTitan’s open-source footprint and engineering blog, sharing battle-tested patterns for high-throughput .NET microservices, event sourcing, and React performance tuning.
- • Stay relentlessly user-focused—ride along with technicians, shadow customer support, and analyze telemetry—to ensure every line of code improves the daily lives of plumbers, electricians, and HVAC pros who depend on our platform to run their businesses.
- • Influence hiring and onboarding processes: define interview rubrics, conduct architecture roundtables, and design ramp-up curricula that cut new-hire time-to-productivity in half.
- • Navigate the unique challenges of a rapidly scaling SaaS platform—think 10× traffic spikes on Monday mornings, zero-downtime migrations across hundreds of shards, and compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, and emerging privacy regulations—while keeping latency p95 under 100 ms.
- • Foster psychological safety and inclusive collaboration. You actively solicit dissenting opinions, celebrate diverse perspectives, and ensure every Titan feels empowered to innovate without fear of failure.
