- • As a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Ironclad, you will serve as the Technical Lead Architect and owner of the document and record service, driving technical strategy to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of the AI-powered contract intelligence platform.
- • Day to day, you will partner across engineering teams to unlock new feature capabilities, mentor engineers, collaborate with product and design teams to spec and build systems, define testing strategies with quality engineers, and contribute to team growth through interviewing and recruiting.

- • In this role, you will architect and build scalable backend systems using a modern stack (TypeScript, Node.js, PostgresSQL, Temporal, Docker/Kubernetes on GCP), apply AI tools to advance contract intelligence, and grow your impact by fostering engineering excellence and shaping the technical foundation of a product bringing a 2000-year-old profession into the digital age.
🎯 Requirements
- • At least 7 years of software experience architecting, building, launching and maintaining complex backend/platform systems
- • Leadership across teams with a drive to improve technical architecture and achieve company-wide goals
- • Hands-on experience shipping valuable products to production with real user feedback
- • Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills
- • Experience leveraging AI tooling across a team to improve execution quality and velocity
- • A high bar for quality and passion for building and shipping great products
