• • As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Backend at Coinbase, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of financial services and loyalty programs by leveraging the power of blockchain technology. You will join the dynamic Financial Services & Loyalty (FS&L) team, a critical group responsible for developing and enhancing high-impact products such as payments, credit card functionalities, on-chain borrowing and lending, staking services, and the CB One subscription. These products collectively serve millions of users, making your role pivotal in advancing Coinbase's mission to increase economic freedom globally.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to define and drive the overarching engineering vision and technical strategy for the FS&L domain. This involves ensuring that our complex, high-throughput systems are not only scalable and reliable but also operate with low latency, meeting the demanding requirements of financial transactions. You will be the technical leader guiding the team towards architectural cohesion across a diverse and rapidly evolving product suite.
• • A significant part of your role will involve architecting and building mission-critical financial systems.
