Senior/Staff Software Engineer - ML Infrastructure

📋 Description

• • As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer - ML Infrastructure at Voxel Technologies Inc., you will be the technical owner for three critical pillars of the machine learning lifecycle: ground-truth data and labeling workflows, large-scale training infrastructure, and continuous model lifecycle management, directly enabling the company’s mission to prevent workplace injuries through AI-powered computer vision.
• • Day to day, you will own data and labeling pipelines by architecting scalable labeling services, designing ontologies, automating annotation workflows, and building quality-tiered datasets; build and operate multi-GPU/multi-node training infrastructure using Kubernetes, Ray, Spark, and accelerators like TensorRT and CUDA-graph; manage model registries, version control, evaluation suites, and continuous-learning loops with zero-downtime rollbacks; provide technical leadership and mentorship to a small infra + research squad; establish DevOps-for-ML best practices including IaC, CI/CD, observability, and cost monitoring; and partner with ML engineers on architecture decisions to align infrastructure and research roadmaps.
