📋 Description

• • Senior/Staff Software Engineer responsible for designing and building core components of Pinecone's next-generation knowledge retrieval system, powering high-quality, scalable, and enterprise-grade agentic systems through advanced search and retrieval infrastructure.
• • Day-to-day work includes designing scalable platform components for semantic and hybrid search, building optimized indexing pipelines for structured and unstructured data, developing backend services for retrieval orchestration and knowledge graph construction, improving retrieval quality via evaluation and observability frameworks, designing APIs for internal and external users, optimizing latency and throughput across large-scale workloads, and driving technical direction for reliability and security.
