  • • As a Senior Stakeholder Relations Analyst at The AES Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission to power a carbon-free future by leading community engagement efforts for clean energy projects in the PJM and SERC regions, ensuring alignment with AES’s strategic goals and social impact initiatives.
  • • You will develop and implement state and project-specific engagement plans with key stakeholders—including local government officials, business leaders, landowners, emergency responders, NGOs, and Indigenous communities—while maintaining accurate records of interactions and fostering trust through culturally sensitive, transparent communication.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include planning and executing in-person and virtual community engagements, researching and building strategic local partnerships, collecting and analyzing stakeholder feedback, monitoring communication channels (toll-free lines, emails, social and traditional media), drafting external communications (handouts, presentations, talking points), managing administrative tasks (invoices, mailings, event calendars), and coordinating with internal teams across development, permitting, construction, and communications.
  • • You will maintain and cultivate relationships with community leadership and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring stakeholder concerns are promptly communicated and integrated into project planning, while adhering to AES’s Voluntary Tribal Engagement Policy when working with Indigenous communities.
  • • You will contribute to the development, implementation, and modification of state engagement plans and associated budgets, ensuring they align with AES’s brand positioning and support renewable energy development objectives.
  • • You will participate in AES-specific learning opportunities, network with peers and leaders, and support organizational alignment through effective internal communications, all while demonstrating a global mindset and comfort working across diverse cultures and backgrounds.
