📋 Description
- • Assist the Statutory Reporting unit with daily tasks related to compilation of statutory financial statements, reconciliations, process enhancement, and critical statutory accounting and reporting projects due to significant growth in health insurance entities.
- • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory financial statements for timely and accurate submission to NAIC and state regulatory authorities; prepare supplemental filings and support insurance audits.
- • Support testing and development of NetSuite and ad hoc reports; assist in filing statutory statements using vendor software while adhering to deadlines.
- • Lead and participate in ad hoc projects supporting statutory reporting and finance needs, including reinsurance accounting initiatives.
- • Work remotely within the USA; report to Senior Statutory Reporting Manager; contribute to Devoted Health’s mission of improving health and well-being of older Americans through integrated healthcare solutions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Reinsurance accounting experience from implementation to reporting
- • Advanced Excel proficiency, including experience with complex formulas
- • Hands-on experience with NetSuite (ERP) and Workiva (Wdesk) is a significant plus
- • Experience with healthcare and insurance industries
- • Exposure to leveraging AI tools to automate financial reconciliations and streamline data collection across jurisdictions
- • Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines consistently, and excellent documentation and organizational skills
